VHCA is targeting early 2008 to fully implement Neighborhood Commercial Zoning for the three largest commercial nodes in the neighborhood. We have hired a consulting firm, Lord, Aeck & Sargent, that specializes in these types of projects to ensure it is done properly and meets the timeline laid out.  This is a consensus-driven effort that will require broad community support to be successful.  The Steering Committee is committed to getting at least 50% support of impacted property owners in each node in addition to strong residential support before submitting any ordinance to Atlanta City Council.
